Destination

Directions to the Next Place
Chicago Trolley
Starting Point:

Bullpen Bar

Under right field stands

4:00-5:00

(depends on game time)

A proper White Sox game can only end with beers here under right field, where you can also get a fix for your Pop-a-Shot jones. Pick up your Chicago Trolley just outside Comiskey's main entrance, head west along 35th and south along Halsted. If you want to save some money, hoof it over and meet the trolley after Schaller's.

1st Stop:

Schaller's Pump

3714 S. Halsted

5:15-6:30

Schaller's is the oldest pub in Chicago and a haven for Sox fans. If you're hungry, try to resist your adolescent urges at bad humor and have the specialty butt steak sandwich. Have your driver head north on Halsted, east (right) on Congress, and north (left) on State. You'll pass the historic Chicago Theatre and the Chicago River.
2nd Stop:

She-nanigan's

16 W. Division

7:00-8:00

Also known as "House of Beer," She-nanigan's is the logical Division Street choice for hitting new lows. West on Division, south (left) on LaSalle, and west (right) on Erie.
3rd Stop:

Coyote Ugly

316 W. Erie

8:15-9:30

You know the drill: hot chicks showing mid-riffs (and dark roots) dance suggestively on the bar while pouring you overpriced shots. You know you love it! East on Erie, north (left) on LaSalle, north (left) on Clark, and west (left) on Lincoln just past Fullerton.
4th Stop:

Irish Eyes

2519 N. Lincoln

9:45-11:00

Cheeseball North Side "oirish" pub when, on Friday and Saturday nights, you'll hear "South Side Irish" amongst other traditional Irish ditties, belted out by Gerry O'Connell and Whitey O'Day to a drunken horde. Southeast on Lincoln, south (right) on Clark, south (right) on LaSalle, east (left) on Ohio, and north (left) on Dearborn.
Final Stop:

Excalibur Nightclub

632 N. Dearborn

11:30-4:00 (5:00 Sat)

Excalibur is open late, until 4am (5am Saturdays), and you'll be like a kid in a candy store with the arcade downstairs, the bachelorette parties on the main floor, and the club scene upstairs.
