STaycation Bachelorette Party

Posh Bachelorette Pub Crawl Chicago

Though fun and bragworthy, vacations are a lot of stress to plan and execute. So axe the stress and focus on the fun by planning a bachelorette party staycation in Chicago. Staycations call for pampering, delicious eats, and an easy place to stumble back to at the end of the night.

Here’s our itinerary for the ideal Chicago bachelorette party staycation.

Acme Hotel

15 E Ohio St

There’s certainly no shortage of boutique hotels in Chicago that would jump at the opportunity to provide you and your crew with the perfect staycation experience. That said, Acme Hotel stands out because of it’s quirkiness, and because of the experiences they’ve put together for their treasured guests.

It probably doesn’t hurt that they’re attached to multiple top-rated drinking and dining establishments, including:

  • The Berkshire Room – classic cocktails in a casual yet refined setting.

  • Bodega – a retro lobby bar with unique cocktail concoctions.

  • The Bunny Slope – an apres-ski themed bar complete with hot tubs!

  • West Town Bakery – a bakery with an Executive Pastry Chef on staff, room service delivery, and gluten-free options so no one gets left out.

You honestly don’t need to leave the hotel to have a robust night in with the girls, and whoever else you come across while checking out the hotel’s amenities.

Additional perks of an Acme Hotel stay include:

  • Support of local art initiatives, with the results visible around the hotel!

  • Tech toys: Wifi hotspots, Snapchat Spectacles, and Apple Watches for rent, keyless entry, and an Amazon Echo in your room.

  • Concierge suggestions for current happenings around Chicago.

Once you’ve settled in, get ready to kick off the rest of your day.

The Spa at Dana

660 N State St

Since one hotel experience is not enough for the pampered bachelorette (and since the Acme Hotel doesn’t have a spa on premise), take a short walk (about two blocks) from the Acme Hotel to The Dana Hotel (another excellent choice for a staycation).

The Spa at Dana is somewhat limited in terms of some of the day spas you’ll find at other Chicago hotels, but it will have everything you and your ladies need to feel beautiful and relaxed. Because of their limitations (more in terms of space than service offerings), prices here are wallet friendly.

Eataly

43 East Ohio St

Once you’re done at the spa, head on over to Eataly. This dual purpose Italian multi-restaurant/marketplace is reminiscent of a department store, at least in terms of it’s sheer size and distinct dining options all conveniently available under one roof.

Stay for a meal, or cook one yourself! On top of their regular schedule, Eataly frequently hosts special events that include cooking classes.

3 Arts Club Cafe

1300 N Dearborn Pkwy

You’ll be hard pressed to find a brunch spot more beloved than 3 Arts Club Cafe in Restoration Hardware. Head over early, as you’re bound to deal with a line. Their delightful brunch experience will mark the perfect end to your Chicago bachelorette staycation.
