Though short-lived, Abner's Yard was a decent bar surrounded by stiff competition from such sports bar Meccas as Slugger's, Goose Island Wrigleyville and John Barleycorn Wrigleyville. Those few that remember Abner's Yard will be happy to know that Mullen's on Clark has replaced it, and has kept the foosball table, pleasant beer garden and has added three real cork dartboards. The "Grand Stand" dance floor on the second story has been replaced by a private party room, but the dance party is in full force over at John Barleycorn Wrigleyville and Hi-Tops. The menu of pizza, burgers and chicken has also been preserved. Gone is "The Lobster Zone" game, though you can play Top of the Food Chain over at Gamekeepers in Lincoln Park.
